China Railway (CR) Guangzhou Group achieved a freight volume of over 120 million tons in 2024, a 3.6% increase from the previous year, as a result of its efforts to enhance logistics efficiency and reduce costs for businesses.
2024 also saw the launch of several new international rail routes connecting southern China with Africa, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Currently, the group's China-Europe and China-Central Asia rail routes have increased to eight, reaching 24 European countries and over 100 cities across Europe and Asia. In 2024, the group operated 1,483 China-Europe and China-Central Asia trains, with an average of 4 trains per day, marking a 6.5% year-on-year increase.

Meanwhile, the group accelerated the development of its modern logistics infrastructure, completing 22 logistics hubs, including major centers in Shenzhen and Guangzhou. These upgrades are designed to streamline operations and improve freight handling. It also invested in smart inspection systems and automated safety systems, to boost security and efficiency at key stations.

In addition to improving infrastructure, the CR Guangzhou Group introduced logistics package services, combining transport, warehousing, and other services to reduce costs for businesses.
