"Tongxin" (同心) represents shared purpose and mutual support, echoing the inclusive vision of building a society where people with and without disabilities move forward together.
"Nuan" (暖) conveys warmth, love, and encouragement—embodied in every medal awarded to these extraordinary athletes.

The design itself is rich with symbolism:
The hook at the top is shaped like a traditional Wok-Ear House (镬耳屋), a nod to Lingnan architecture that expresses wishes for triumph and success.
The front features delicately engraved ocean waves—symbolizing not only the sea's vastness and inclusivity, but also the unyielding drive of athletes who push forward with passion.
The back presents a relief of the Chinese white dolphin holding the torch, representing the Olympic spirit passed from generation to generation. Beneath it, Braille inscriptions for "Special Olympic Games," and the respective medal type ("Gold," "Silver," or "Bronze") show thoughtful respect for visually impaired athletes.
In the background, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge links history and modernity, conveying messages of unity, progress, and national pride. It's more than a landmark—it's a bridge of dreams, confidence, and shared destiny.
